Disclaimer | TenderKosh
Last updated: 22 August 2026
This page explains where the information on TenderKosh and the TenderKosh blog comes from, what it can reasonably be used for, and what it should never be used for. Please read it before relying on anything you find here.
The short version: everything we publish is research compiled from public sources. Procurement rules and tender terms change constantly. Before you bid, pay, or make any commercial or compliance decision, verify against the official tender document and the issuing authority’s own portal. Where they differ from us, they are right and we are not.
1. General information only
All content on this website — articles, guides, summaries, tables, checklists, listings and commentary — is published for general informational and educational purposes. It is not legal, financial, tax, investment, accounting or other professional advice, and reading it does not create any professional or advisory relationship between you and TenderKosh.
Public procurement decisions carry real commercial and legal consequences. For advice on your specific situation, consult a qualified professional — a lawyer for contractual and disqualification questions, a chartered accountant for turnover, tax and certification questions, and the issuing authority itself for anything about a particular tender.
2. How we gather information
Our content is compiled from publicly available sources, which typically include:
- Government press releases, notifications, circulars and scheme documents
- Official procurement portals and the tender documents published on them
- Public statements and disclosures by ministries, departments and public sector undertakings
- Court judgments and orders reported in the public domain
- Trade and industry reporting from established publications
Where a figure or statement comes from reporting rather than from an official document, we try to say so. Where sources conflict, we try to say that too rather than silently pick one. Where a rule varies by tender or authority, we describe the common pattern and tell you to read your own document — because that pattern is orientation, not a rule.
3. Information goes out of date — quickly
This is the most important limitation, and it is not a formality.
- Tenders are amended mid-window. Corrigenda routinely change specifications, eligibility, bid security, capacity and deadlines, sometimes within hours of a closing date.
- Schemes evolve after announcement. Cabinet approval is not the same as notified guidelines; allocations, caps and eligibility conditions can change between the two.
- Portal rules and fees are revised. Registration requirements, charges, thresholds and processes are updated by the operating authorities without notice to us.
- Law and policy move. Procurement rules, preference policies and court positions change.
An article carries the date it was last updated. That date tells you when it was accurate, not that it still is.
4. Always verify against the primary source
Before acting on anything you read here, check it against the authoritative source for your situation:
- The tender document itself, including every corrigendum issued against it
- The issuing authority’s official portal — the department, PSU, DISCOM or agency running the procurement
- The relevant government notification, rules or scheme guidelines
- The e-procurement portal on which the bid is to be submitted
If anything on TenderKosh conflicts with an official tender document, notification or portal, the official source prevails. Never submit a bid, pay a fee, or make a compliance decision on the strength of a third-party summary — ours or anyone else’s.
5. No warranty, no liability
We take reasonable care in researching and writing what we publish, and we correct errors when we find them or when they are reported. Even so, we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, currency or suitability of any content on this website.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TenderKosh, its owners, employees and contributors accept no liability for any loss or damage — including lost bids, lost contracts, forfeited bid security, wasted preparation cost, or any direct, indirect or consequential loss — arising from the use of, or reliance on, anything published here.
Any decision you take on the basis of this content is your own, and remains your responsibility.
6. We are not a government website
TenderKosh is a privately operated tender-intelligence platform. We are not a government department, agency or portal, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any government body, ministry, public sector undertaking or procurement platform.
References to government departments, schemes, portals, PSUs and their names, logos or marks are made for identification and descriptive purposes only. All such names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. We do not accept applications, registrations, bids, fees or payments on behalf of any government authority, and we cannot influence any procurement decision.
7. Tender listings and aggregated data
Where we display, summarise or aggregate tender information, that information originates from third-party and government sources. Listings may be incomplete, delayed, mis-categorised or superseded by an amendment we have not yet captured. Aggregated data is a discovery aid, not a substitute for the official record.
Bids must always be submitted on the official portal specified in the tender, in accordance with that tender’s terms. We do not submit bids on your behalf, and we do not guarantee that you will find, qualify for, or win any tender.
8. External links
This website contains links to third-party websites, including government portals, official documents and news publications. These are provided for convenience and reference. We do not control their content and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, security or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
9. Legal and case references
Where we refer to court decisions, statutes or rules, we do so in summary form for general understanding. Summaries necessarily omit detail, and a judgment often turns on facts and clause wording specific to that case. Nothing here should be read as an opinion on how the law applies to your circumstances. Take advice from a qualified lawyer before challenging any procurement decision or relying on a legal position.
10. Corrections
We would genuinely rather be corrected than be wrong. If you spot an error, an out-of-date figure, a broken link or a statement that no longer reflects current rules, please write to support@tenderkosh.com with the page and the issue. We review corrections promptly and update the page and its “last updated” date when we make a substantive change.
11. Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The version published on this page, with the date shown at the top, is the version that applies. Continued use of this website means you accept it.
